IDBI Bank PGDBF Recruitment 2025-26: Apply for 650 Junior Assistant Manager Vacancies

IDBI Bank has announced 650 vacancies for the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) 2025-26 program. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be inducted as Junior Assistant Managers (Grade ‘O’) in IDBI Bank.

Vacancy Details

Total 650 vacancies are available, with category-wise distribution as follows:

  • UR: 260
  • SC: 100
  • ST: 54
  • OBC: 171
  • EWS: 65
  • PWD: 26 (VI-6, OH-7, HI-7, MD/ID-6)



Eligibility Criteria

✅ Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university (Diploma holders are not eligible).
  • Proficiency in computers and regional language preferred.
  • Final-year students can apply but must provide proof of graduation by 1st March 2025.


✅ Age Limit (as of 1st March 2025):

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 25 years (Born between 1st March 2000 and 1st March 2005)
  • Age relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years | OBC - 3 years | PWD - 10 years


Selection Process

1️⃣ Online Exam (Objective Type | 120 minutes | 200 Marks)

  • Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation (60 Questions – 60 Marks)
  • English Language (40 Questions – 40 Marks)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (40 Questions – 40 Marks)
  • General/Economy/Banking Awareness (60 Questions – 60 Marks)
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks deduction per wrong answer

2️⃣ Personal Interview

  • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (General), 45% (SC/ST/OBC/PWD)

📌 Final Selection: 75% weightage to Online Test & 25% weightage to Interview


Application Fees

💰 SC/ST/PWD: ₹250

💰 General/OBC/EWS: ₹1050

Program Details & Fees

📌 Training Duration: 1-Year PGDBF Program

  • 6 months Classroom Training
  • 2 months Internship
  • 4 months On-the-Job Training (OJT)

📌 Program Fee: ₹3,00,000 + GST

  • Candidates can apply for an education loan from IDBI Bank
  • Course fee reimbursed in 5 annual installments after 3 years of service

📌 Stipend:

  • ₹5,000 per month (Training)
  • ₹15,000 per month (Internship)

📌 Salary (After Joining as Junior Assistant Manager):

  • CTC: ₹6.14 – ₹6.50 LPA (Class A City)
  • Promotion to Grade ‘A’ after 3 years, based on performance

📌 Service Bond:

  • Candidates must serve IDBI Bank for 3 years or pay ₹2 lakh + taxes if leaving early
